Mission Information Line (MIL): 1-800-866-4546 Peace of mind is only a phone call away...the Mission Information Line is a bilingual telephone service for families of Canadian military personnel serving in operations outside Canada. The toll-free, 24-hour service features detailed reports about Canadian Forces Missions and operations around the world. During business hours, you can speak directly to MIL staff. |
This free service lets families of deployed personnel send parcels free of charge to their loved ones who are serving overseas. This service is available to all families and packages can be dropped off at the TMFRC office. Proper address information is important! You must include your return address with telephone number and contents must be listed on the outside. For correct mailing addresses, visit the National Defence and the Canadian Forces Addresses for Overseas Operations web page. General Resources: The Toronto Military Family Resource Centre offers numerous resources to support families and friends during separation in our library and through our deployment office. These include handouts, books, colouring books, information about post traumatic stress disorder information, internet sites and much more. Visit our lending library for reference materials or casual reading materials. Use of internet, fax and photocopy is available at our location for use by family and friends. |
