CHILDREN, YOUTH & PARENTING Child & Youth Programs The Toronto Family Military Resource Centre (TMFRC) offers a wide variety of programs for military children and youth. Our goal is to promote healthy child development, supportive child/adult interaction, enhance parenting and care giving skills, and foster youth engagement in the community. We are here to provide services that enhance family well-being by fostering parenting and providing support for the optimal care and development of children and youth up to age 18. If you are looking for full-time childcare, visit our Children’s Playgarden page for full details. All children and youth programs run through the school year – September to June. In order to provide excellent, safe programs and ensure appropriate staff/child ratios, we require pre-registration. All programs (except for special trips) are held at the TMFRC location and are free of charge (sometimes we need a deposit or must charge for materials). There is also free parking.
