And welcome to our web site! We encourage you to take this opportunity to learn all about the programs and services we provide specifically for military families.

The Toronto Military Family Resource Centre (TMFRC) is a community based non-profit charitable organization. Our goal is to recognize and foster the unique strength of families within the military community. Our aim is to support our families in a meaningful way by providing the resources to assist, maintain and enhance their quality of family life while living in the Greater Toronto Area.

The TMFRC is unique because it is not part of a base. The military community composition in Toronto includes: Area Service Unit (Toronto), Defence Research and Development Canada, Land Force Central Area Headquarters, 32 Brigade and the Canadian Forces College. Approximately 300 families live in the PMQs nearby. The remaining families are scattered throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

While our programs are tailored to meet the needs of military families, our doors are open to everyone – military, military family members and civilians who support the troops. We look forward to getting to know you!

Military Discounts are available. Most of our programs are free, but where fees apply, we offer special pricing to military family members. Take advantage of these discounts in our second language training programs as well as our child & youth programs, day camps and full-time daycare.
